Bandipur is a hilltop settlement and a municipality in Tanahun District, of Nepal. This municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging with existing Dharampani and Bandipur VDCs. Because of its preserved, old time cultural atmosphere, Bandipur has increasingly been coming to the attention of tourism along with Pokhara, the city of nature . These 2 cities have its own uniqueness . These days, internal domestic tourists make a good visit to these places with full of enthusiastic and joy.
This package covers a wonder beauty of Nepal. Smooth drive from city of heritage - Kathmandu to west of Nepal into an eco-cultural small village of Bandipur . It is about 4 hours drive and is a small hill station of indegenious community majority of Newari and Magar. It gives a warm charming view of local peopole, their life style and heritage built Bandipur bazzar .
Pokhara, another 2-3 hours drive along highway from Bandipur. Pokhara is rich of natural beauty . Mt. Machhapucchre range gives a warm welcome to Pokhara. Other natural beauty including Begnas lake, Fewa lake, Devis fall, Gupteswar cave, Mahendra cave, Int'l. Mountain museum , Sarangkot, Peace stupa and various adventure sports activities definitely enhance make this short trip a joyous and wonderful.
Day 01: Kathmandu - Bandipur
Drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur village. It is about 150 km. Reach by 4-5 hrs. Check in at hotel. Rest day stroll on own Bandipur Bazzar, Tudhikhel, Siddhi cave, Tin Dhara, Thani Mai, etc. It is an Eco-Cultural village of majority tribes of Newar and Magar. Back to the hotel. Rest and overnight.
Day 02: Bandipur-Pokhara
After breakfast, drive down-skirt of Highway to Pokhara about 80 km. Reach by 2 hrs. Check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Devi's fall, Gupteswar cave. Later drive to the lakeside and visit Taal Barahi Temple via boating in Fewa lake. Back to hotel and overnight.
Day 03: Sarangkot / Free day
Early morning, drive uphill 30 minutes to Sarangkot for early sunrise view and panoramic mountain range. Enroute visit Bindyabashini temple and drive back to hotel and breakfast. Rest day free on own. (On request : other tour activities ) Overnight at hotel .
Optional: Paragliding, Zipliner, Hot air balloon , World peace stupa ,Begnas lake etc.
Day 04:Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu.
